UCS Annual L&T Day 2013
The
UCS Annual Learning and Teaching (L&T) Day was held on 5th July
2013 with approximately 109 people attending some or all of the day. Attendants
were mainly staff and from UCS Ipswich (86%), plus representation from
each College in the Learning Network. The L&T Day was built around the theme of Open, Online and Distance Learning (OODL).
A resounding majority of those responding to the
evaluation of the L&T Day 2013 were satisfied or highly satisfied with the event. There were also consistent
positive scores of satisfaction for specific elements in the day eg for the information provided in advance of the event, for the length of
the event and for the food and drink provided. A high score of satisfaction with
the papers or pecha kucha was noted and for the keynotes and the posters.
The day was opened by Professor Mike Saks, the UCS Provost and Chief Executive.Dr Christine Smith, organiser of the L&T Day in 2013 presented slides to also open the day
